Meet the Artist

There is this longing in my heart and my soul to capture the beauty of this world and preserve it in a way that can be cherished forever. I would love to work with you to capture the most important moments of your life.

A wife, mother, Christ follower, and an artist.    I have a bachelors degree from Kent State University, and I am blessed to be able to work full time as a photographer. I truly enjoy and am inspired by what I do.  I love working with others and consider it an honor to be entrusted with one of the most important days of their lives.

K I N D L E I read a whole series the way other people would read an article. My kindle is my key to a thousand other worlds and yet super tiny, win win!
O R G A N I Z A T I O N Yep, that's my planner. I almost photographed my label maker, but this is way prettier. :)

I want to capture so much more than just posed portraits on the wedding day.  I want to capture the love between not only the couple, but their community of people who are all there to support them.  I want to capture the movement that occurs throughout the day and also the stillness and sweetness of the moments in between.

I promise to give all of myself wholeheartedly to my work, to capture not only photographs, but feelings, and to create art that conveys realness and evokes emotion. I vow to serve each couple in a unique way tailored to their needs not just on their wedding day, but during our entire time together.  I promise to respect every wedding day as the beginning of a lifelong journey.  I vow to never loose the love that drives me to pour my heart into each wedding and to always push myself to be a better photographer and a better person.  My goal is to always go above and beyond my calling as a wedding photographer.

I am actually a minimalist. I admit I used to be a hoarder. Constantly trying to find places to store all my things. But then one day it hit me, stuff gets in the way of life and since then I have been paring down the non-essentials. What did make the cut? Well obviously all business tech, about ten coffee mugs, and my crazy amounts of books on my kindle. ;) learn more about Jessica Name one random fact most people wouldn't know about you.
Live simply, speak kindly, love unconditionally. At the end of the day, I just want to have given more than I have taken. This philosophy goes along with the mantra I have adopted: learn more about Jessica what drives you?
